Create a new logo and refresh branding, including a new, more modern website.
To start off this project, I had a look at the top competitors and what was already out there. Because Courtney & Nelson are a wholesaler of confectionary rather than producing confectionary it was difficult to find similar businesses. However, I managed to find inspiration from a mix of both wholesalers and makers including The Sweet People, Tangerine, Cadbury and Kinnerton. I took into consideration not only their branding and brand story/aesthetic but also their online presence.
After playing with different concepts and layouts on paper, I decided to develop a few of my ideas further digitally.
After having a look at a new brand identity, I decided to spend a little time focusing on the website. The client wanted a new refresh of their website showing a strong, modern brand.
